Many pages throughout this website detail public corruption in Hawaii, including naming books, news articles, and other sources; and by compiling interviews and data collections to present them to the public.
This page details how it all started and lists modern examples of Hawaii Public Corruption below the history sections.
The Government and corporate corruption in Hawaii began since Hawaii started as a Republic, then continued on as it went to a Territory, then affected the very Statehood in 1959 and the State of Hawaii Constitution. Relevant to this, one the page titled "Public Corruption" from button below, and UnConstitutional History below that.
The numerous unConstitutional deprivations against the people are well documented and some examples can be read by clicking on button below.
P.L. 103-150 reflects corporate interests creating of the State of Hawaii.
The Big Five were Castle & Cooke, Alexander & Baldwin, C. Brewer & Co. American Factors (now Amfac) and Theo Davies & Co. They started the sugar industry and wielded much power from the time Hawaii government began. The sugar industry is the very corporate interests that overthrew the monarchy and resulted in P.L. 103-150.
The term "Big Five" was "coined: by Attorney General Hawaii Edmund Pearson Dole in 1903.
The Big Six were Hiram Fong, Mun On Chun, Clifford Yee, Daniel B.T. Lau, Fong Choy and L.Q. Pang. This section is worth the read !
Hiram Fong owned Market City Shopping Center and Kapiolani Blvd. on Oahu.
Mun On Chon owned Honolulu trust and hired Daniel Lau. All prior to Statehood in 1959.
Hiram Fong was an attorney and was a contributor to the Hawaii State Constitution when Hawaii became a State. His corporate interests of finance, real estate development, and land speculation affected his position as government Official, was a conflict of interests and was basically doing the same thing as the Big Five, only not with sugar.
After Statehood Hiram Fong became a Senator and Mun On Chun became his assistant, and the Big Six's corporate interests grew to over thirty corporations in twenty years.
Three of these corporations (Finance Factors,Ltd., Finance Reality,Ltd., and the Polynesian Investment Company ["PIC"]) commingled their assets to buy properties. One of those properties was Fern Forest subdivision (see Exhibit #23 CLICK>>>HERE for evidence late Senator Hiram Fong owned that subdivision). The lots were then sold zoned as agriculture means the developer and the governemnt agreed it was agriculture.
Since lots are a commodity our deeds are our receipts and contain our warranties, hence the title "Warranty deeds". This means we are guaranteed to what we purchased, and any unauthorised alteration is unlawful; and fits definitions of Antitrust violations and violations of the Constitution, Private property Acts and Agricultural Acts, etc...
It gets more complicated from here.
For example, the research shows that the Fern Forest subdivision was created prior to 1959, but that is the date on County of Hawaii maps when those three corporations had sold most of their interests to R.F. Tongg whom had sold off to individuals by 1959.
When anyone bought a lot (s), it comes with their private interest percentage of easements and roads and the corporations and R.F. Tongg could no longer control those private percentage interests. Therefore, they could not represent any other interest than their own. That means :
Each lot has a voice and no one has the authority to control that voice, not the government, not the community association, or an unConstitutional Law, etc..
Today the descendants of the Big Five and Big Six are still holding a lot of power and Milton Choy caught bribery charges (read about that below), Michael Yee is/or was the County Planning Director, owns land right next to the community association, and unlawfully changed the Fern Forest road names, etc... Look at who owns the three corporations today. In fact the PIC owns two lots right next to the community association.
Also, the descendants of the Big Five and Big Six are still holding a lot of power and Milton Choy caught bribery charges (read about that below), Michael Yee is the County Planning Director, owns land right next to the community association, and unlawfully changed the Fern Forest road names, And Michel Yee's brother, Randall Yee owns the PIC which has two lots next to the community association, etc... You can read more at the Bill 82 Injunction page. (See Exhibits #12 - #14 and #26)

Under the Declaration of Independence it is the "duty" of every Citizen to root out wrongdoing and replace it with something better; this includes government officials. The People should not have to monitor officials that hold positions of public trust; but unfortunately from the sad state of affairs, it appears that is the case.
Government officials cannot turn such a blind eye to the very founding documents that give them their powers. Here is an article about that at https://reason.com/2023/06/27/in-election-law-dispute-chief-justice-john-roberts-delivered-a-win-for-the-constitution/

First, the word "conspiracy" is up front a center.
Hawaii Legislative 2023 event -Senator Dela Cruz led a group of lawmakers, in a secretive campaign, to get rid of Vassilis Syrmos as Director of the "quad-independent Hawaii Technology Development Corp. " where government and corporate interests are unlawfully commingled. His position "...was supposed to be free from politics."
This supports Claims that government officials bully and strong-arm opposers to their forced development agenda.
It confirms the government blurs the separation between government and corporate interests ;and public corruption is blatant for All to see as if they have impunity.
