The common discussions we hear in the community is how corrupt Hawaii is and how helpless people feel to do anything about it.

The corruption goes from D.C. all the way to your neighbourhood community association.

The book "Land and Power" by George Cooper and Gavin Dawes is full of examples; AND

recently the "mailbox scandal"is an example of public corruption.

Lawsuit Case No 23-03179 in the Ninth Court of Appeals is addressing this right now. We shall see deep the rabbit hole of corruption goes.

Many examples exist of this; such as Bill 82 of the County of Hawaii; which is under current litigation in The Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals in Civil Case No. 23-03179 when an Court document was made to stop Bill 82 from becoming Law and to revoke it if it does. So, government officials appear to be untrustworthy. This destroys public trust in government.

Lying is an example of misconduct, but there are many more. Abuse of power and authorities, underhanded acts and/or omissions, neglect, violations of sworn oaths, duties, codes of conduct and ethics, etc...

Wex legal dictionary states "Misconduct is wrongful or unlawful behavior. In criminal law, misconduct often refers to official misconduct and sexual misconduct. 

Public corruption is fuelled by qualified and other government Immunity Laws that they made to protect themselves from being sued. It is not equal protection of the Law under the 14th Amendment. 

Immunities violate the 9th Amendment that states all rights , Laws and rights not in the Constitution belong to the people not the government. And that government shall not make any laws that infringe upon our Constitutional rights. If this happens, then under Article III to the Constitution, they are void.

Immunity laws deprive us of our rights to remedy and justice and make an example of the wrongdoer to ensure the wrongdoing stops and deters others in the future.

It will take a Civil action to get the government to comply because they are not very good at self-correcting, or correcting anything after it is pointed out to them.

So, until then, All Immunity issues must be litigated to determine whether they apply. 

On top of being unConstitutional, Immunities prevent ANY recourse to obtain remedy from wrongdoers. It contributes to escalated public corruption because government officials  feel they have impunity and feel invincible. 

This results in the oppression of the People, and puts us at the mercy of the very government that is supposed to protect  and guarantee our rights through public servants.

Not to have public servants serving themselves. 

Thomas Jefferson said Equal rights for All and Privileges for None.

Hawaii has a history of  unlawfully commingling government and corporate interests to the point that corporations are controlling government. Don't think it can happen ? Well it already has. It supports a history of Hawaii government conspiring with corporations to deprive us our rights ,and actually "plan" to threaten harm to any Citizen person versus protecting them; which is their duty.

We have a right to peaceful demonstrations in America to protest. We have rights to : support or oppose change, free speech, rights to assemble, etc... and using the Police as a tool of oppression and instrument of harm on the public they were hired to serve demonstrates the depth of their depravity. this is ALL is a threat to democracy.

Prosecutors have an engrained mentality of prosecution that does not go away when they run for and hold public offices such as Mayor or Governor; 

Prosecutors spend years trying to convict others. "Prosecutorial abuse is considered to be “quite possibly the most pressing challenge in American criminal justice.” as quoted at Criminal Legal News.

It does not seem like a good idea to have a Prosecutor as such a higher official since in America we are innocent until proven guilty, yet the prosecutor thinks in the opposite direction. 

They can use their government positions when they move into higher official capacities such as a Mayor, to further hidden agendas, such as increased surveillance of Citizens.
